COURSE DESCRIPTION
All Classes are children or teen fine art lessons. They are taught on a individualized basis, I work one on one with each student in a small group setting. Each student will work at his/her own pace and learn the fundamentals of drawing /sketching/painting.
Students will learn how to sketch from life, photos and the masters. Subjects will include animals, flowers, landscapes , and portraits. Elements of line drawing, values and tones and color and painting techniques will be taught as they progress. They will learn how to use a variety of mediums, beginning with pencil, charcoal, chalk pastel, oil pastels, pen n’ ink, watercolors, acrylics and oils. They will become acquainted with work of the masters and their techniques.There are no prerequisites for these lessons. No experience necessary.
As a student advances they will explore combining mediums, duplicating some of the masters as well as explore and experiment with their own creativity using techniques that they have learned.
