Miss Linda
At ART ADVENTURE STUDIO, Linda Watkins and her staff specialize in teaching fine art to kids and teens. Her studio provides an environment where students feel inspired, creative, safe and happy. The studio's beautiful light, art benches, easels and music produce a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere where each individual's creativity is embraced and nourished.
Linda has a long, strong background in art. She began her art training when she was a teenager. She was taught in the atelier style of painting, which is a form of fine art instruction modeled after the historic private art studios of Europe. She learned techniques of some of the masters. She now loves to share her knowledge and her passion and says, "I get the privilege of seeing focused expressions on my students' faces when they are concentrating, their smile when they feel confident, and their laughter when they are comfortable and having fun. I love what I do and feel fortunate to have planted the seed of art fundamentals and have sparked creativity in so many students."
Linda looks forward to working with each new student who enters her studio door. She delights in getting to know them and sharing her joy and expertise with them on their own art adventure.
Classes at the studio are taught in a small group setting. Linda works with each student on a one-to-one basis, giving them instruction based
on his/her age, aptitude and interests. Students are taught at their own pace and ability.
ART ADVENTURE STUDIO also offers fine art/craft workshops for adults, Holiday Party workshops for kids, studio rental, and scout troop badges.
